KRASNOYARSK, Sep 7 (PRIME) -- Russia's trade volume fell by 16% on the year in January–August, head of the Federal Customs Service Vladimir Bulavin told reporters on Monday.

"Payments to the budget were delayed because of the pandemic, but in January-August we were in the trajectory of the forecasted plan for the year. Our task is quite tough but unfortunately, our trade volume fell by 16% in January–August, imports by 7%, exports by 23%," Bulavin said.

He also said that it is hard to forecast payments to the federal budget.
